Filling Online Skips EasyCalc, we highly recommend using EasyCalc as it is a better way to order, calculate waste and pick products.
Fill in your job detail information, enter field (measure in Sq.ft.) and perimeter (lineal
feet) as they are required, if your deck has a pool, then enter pool corners (count them)
and pool cut line (measure in lineal feet).
For cuts on the deck, such as
a sunk planter which is going to be surrounded by border material, click add cut line and enter
perimeter of the cut area (measure in lineal feet).
Choose a Product Style (line, Shellock, Corallock, Granitelock etc.).
Then, Choose a
pattern for your deck area. All of our official patterns are available to be picked on Easy
Calc.
After Selecting the pattern,
Choose the color for each piece.
For border,
add a border which will surround the deck, select by size, then pick desired color. If your deck
does not have a border, leave this blank or select No Border.
For decks with pools and coping, select coping #1 and choose coping size and color. The lineal
feet measurement will be automatically entered based on your pool's lineal footage.
For
additional Coping or Specialty pieces, enter lineal footage or quantity of pieces (specialty)
for each piece and select color.
Artistic Pavers are more than elegant and comfortable to walk on. They are a dense, durable,
and time-tested pavers. Our products are manufactured to achieve a very high density that has
many advantages over regular poured concrete or standard porous block pavers.
During the manufacturing process of
our pavers, we use over 1 million pounds of pressure to compress the paver and eliminate
excess water and air.
The result is a paver offering a minimum compressive
strength of 8,000 pounds per square inch (psi), a density of 150 pounds per cubic foot,
and a water absorption rate of less than five percent.
From an aesthetical point of view, concrete
slabs and standard porous block pavers look chunky and have a rough surface. The high
density of our pavers translates into a product with
a homogenous surface, gentle to the touch, and visually pleasing.
Because of the high density of Artistic Pavers, algae and mildew have a difficult time
growing on our pavers. That makes all the difference when it comes to maintenance.
While porous products have to be cleaned and sealed annually to keep algae and
mildew away from the deck, Artistic Pavers will need very little maintenance.
Another
advantage of the high density of Artistic Pavers is that it helps resist stains. Accidents
will happen, as they are part of the everyday life of your deck. A spill of wine or leaf’s
from your backyard's trees falling onto your deck, those things will eventually happen,
but it will be much easier to clean our pavers because the surface is not porous.
Your choice of Sand will make a huge difference when installing your new paver deck. The main goal is
to achieve the best drainage possible under the pavers, and the correct Sand will help you get there...
The amount of bedding Sand you use for your pavers can affect your installation, so you should use no more
than the recommended 1 inch with I Artistic Pavers.
Here's why: a Sand layer
on top of the base material layer that is too thick can create waves and poor drainage in your patio deck
during the installation.
Pressing pavers into a thick Sand bed may result in misalignment and a messy look. Bedding Sand should
never be watered in. Doing so will compact the bedding Sand too much and may not allow the pavers to
be appropriately bedded into the layer.

The correct Sand for laying a bedding sand under concrete pavers is
Gunite Concrete Sand. Referred to ASTM C33 by ICPI. Gunite Concrete Sand is very
coarse with minimal fines, clay, and loams by percentage.It can be compacted uniformly after the pavers
are bedded and allow for adequate water drainage. This Sand has angular granules and packs very
well. This is the recommended Sand for use under pavers.
Mason Sand in the other hand is not recommended for Bedding Sand,
since it is a finer crushed Sand with more uniform granules than Gunite Concrete Sand and
has been screened and washed. If the Sand is too fine, it may contain loams and clay. This will not allow
the water to drain completly.
